Flats, flats, flats...

SO! Spring is here, lets' talk about different types of flat shoes :)

In this article I will try to go through the main types of flats and provide with some examples how to wear each type. Let's go!

Chelsea boots

Usually leather, without any small details, ankle-high boots.

More likely to wear during ''cold spring'' (captain obvious), as a part of serious sophisticated look.

Oxford Shoes

Fortunately in 21st century it's absolutely normal for women to wear Oxford Shoes, which is a great detail to complete an office outfit or just a formal one.

Loafers

Plain flat shoes without laces and buckles.

These are one of the most popular types for women nowadays.

You can wear it with jeans, leggings and different pants. I wouldn't suggest combining them with skirts or dresses, there are ''sweeter'' ballerinas for these cases:)

Ballerina flats

This kind of shoes is the sweet, more feminine version of loafers, also they are usually thin and light so you can wear them in summer as well. Typically they don't have any belts or buckles on them.

I prefer exactly ballerinas with    dresses and  skirts, it seems
that they keep that romantic
chic because they usually tend
to have that kind of girly
designs.

Slip-on

Low lace-less shoes, the distinguishing feature of which is thick white base. Slip-on shoes usually have print on top or some specific thick fabric.

Since before Slip-on shoes were worn mostly by skaters or in sport style. but now you can easily wear them in your casual outfit. Coats, leather jackets, try whatever you want just choose shoes that will have kind of the same tone with at least one part of your look.

Converse

I am sure everyone knows about famous All Star Converse shoes. Since they became widely popular all around the world, this type of the same looking shoes as All Star are now generally called ''Converse''. Match with both jeans and skirts (thanks to ''free'' fashion nowadays)

Moccasin and Topsiders

These two are like brother and  sister.  Square , stitched out ''nose'' - that's how you recognize them. The difference between them two is that topsiders are laced throughout the top border of the shoe.

Espadrille

The last but not the least!
Favorites for summer time! The main feature is that their base is made of jute rope, while the top is usually a cotton fabric.

This type is very convenient because it can finish both sweet spring outfits and more formal outfits. Also it is very easy to find them in almost each shop, which helps to choose exactly what you like:)

Thank you for your attention! It is just the first article, I hope you find it useful :D
